Two groups with a total of 40 seats.

Rooms

Our daycare center has two group rooms, each with a bedroom, adjoining room, and washroom. We also have a multipurpose room. Of course, there is also an office, staff restroom, break room, kitchen, storage rooms, and a utility room. All rooms are accessible.

Outdoor Facilities

We have a spacious outdoor area with three large deciduous trees that provide natural shade in summer without darkening the grounds.
The grounds offer opportunities for climbing, balancing, riding vehicles, and playing various ball games.

Daily Schedule

Our facility opens at 7:30 a.m.

Drop-off time is until 9:00 a.m.

We have lunch at 12:15 p.m.

Children can be picked up between 1:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Children with a 35-hour week must be picked up by 2:30 p.m.

Food

Lunch is freshly prepared at the youth hostel (next to our facility) and delivered promptly.

Description and Stations

Our daycare center is located directly at the stop for line 1 (Sportpark Höhenberg) and buses 151 and 152. The entrance to the A3 and A4 highways is also a short distance away.

The Merheimer Heide park and various sports fields are located directly opposite as alternative locations.

Basics

Work that complements family life is important to us. Children should be able to develop into independent individuals in a safe, loving, and stimulating environment.

Employee

We are a team of seven full-time and part-time educational specialists. We also have an everyday helper and a kitchen assistant. In addition, we have interns doing a voluntary social year or interns in training.

Qualification

We are a qualified institution in the Höhenberg/Vingst Family Center.

Cooperations

We are a partner in the Kalker Network for Families.

Specifics

We are closely connected to the community and regularly organize or attend church services at St. Elisabeth's or St. Theodor's Church. We have been participating in the Höhenberg carnival parade for about 10 years.
