Basics

Individual support, adapted to the needs and abilities of each child, is our focus. Participation is reflected in our attitude and our pedagogical concept as a common thread, in which we combine various pedagogical concepts into our own, mindful daycare concept.

Maria Montessori - "Help me to do it myself".

- The child drives growth and educational processes through his or her own strength.
- Educators create the conditions the child needs through a "prepared environment".

Emmi Pikler - "Give me time".

- According to Emmi Pikler's approach, infants are born competent and can take independent steps in the development of movement.
- Core elements to support this independence are free movement development, free play and relational care.

Marte Meo (Maria Aarts) - "By our own strength".

- Marte Meo is an approach for pedagogical professionals in early childhood education and support and supports them, among other things, through linguistic accompaniment of the action by educators, to better understand children and to support them in a more targeted way.
- Maria Aarts, the founder of Marte Meo, assumes that every child is born with initiative, a so-called "inner gold mine".

The basis of Kinderhut's educational areas are the 10 educational principles of North Rhine-Westphalia, which the daycare team uses as a "map" for their everyday work and experience with the children.

Employee

2 to 3 pedagogical staff members per group look after the children. In addition, there is a management position. The team is supplemented by a cook and a housekeeper.

Additional Offerings

We emphasize the promotion of early physical activity and not only spend a lot of time in the fresh air, but also do gymnastics with the children on a regular basis. Once a week, an Early Bird English lesson is held for the Ü3 children. The children learn the English language in a playful way. The preschool group also takes place weekly.

Quality Assurance

The quality management system of Kinderhut has a certification according to DIN ISO 9001/2015.

Teamwork with school

Cooperation with the elementary school is an integral part of our concept.

Teamwork with parents

The educational partnership is an important part of our work. This cooperation is multifaceted; for example, regular parent meetings, written parent information, notices or information via the daycare app are an integral part, as are joint parent-child activities and celebrations. The daycare center council and the parents' council are closely involved in the cooperation.

Holiday Care

Since there are only closures during the Christmas vacations and around a maximum of five bridge days, there is no need for a vacation childcare program.

Homework Support

Is not required.

Parental Interviews

A digital parent survey takes place once a year. After the evaluation, parents receive the survey results and are informed about resulting measures.
