Basics

We take a holistic educational approach in our daily work. The children have the opportunity to experience their environment with all their senses. In addition to the seasonal cycle, everyday life at the daycare center is characterized by a wide range of projects. It is important to us that the children actively shape this everyday life with their individual interests and inclinations.

Promoting the children's language development is at the forefront of our educational work. This includes creating a wide variety of language opportunities through diverse experiences, thereby supporting and promoting the development of each child's own language skills. As a Protestant institution, religious education and the teaching of Christian values are an integral part of our work.

In our daycare center, we work according to an open concept. The children are not permanently assigned to a fixed group, but can move freely between the different functional areas according to their age and interests and become active there, always accompanied by the educational staff.

Teamwork with parents

The basis of our educational work is that parents and staff share responsibility for supporting the child.
We begin discussing the child with the parents as early as the preparation phase for settling in. We want to shape this sensitive time of starting daycare together so that the child can feel secure right from the start.
This exchange is further cultivated through short daily conversations, scheduled development meetings, parents' evenings, and activities.
In addition, we regularly consult with the elected parents' council to discuss issues that concern all parents and changes and improvements that are necessary and possible.
