Current information

Rooms

Barrier-free, light-flooded facility. Three groups with 40 children aged from six months to school age.

Each group room has an additional adjoining room/bedroom, as well as a studio, a movement room and a room of wonders for small groups and project work.

Our daycare centre rooms provide security, orientation and reliability and invite children to explore together. They are ‘places of learning and development’. Our rooms are exciting workshops in which children can go on a journey of discovery individually and at their own pace according to their respective stage of development.

Outdoor Facilities

Our garden runs all the way round the daycare centre and can be accessed from every room.

The mud area, net swing and slide stimulate the senses and promote mobility and the development of cognitive skills. Sand, leaves, small stalks and branches, soil, water, flowers, beetles and much more encourage children to explore and discover. Their creativity is inspired. Playing and learning outdoors means: experiencing, hiding, climbing, romping around, digging, romping, playing, running... having fun.

Daily Schedule

Until 8.30 am Breakfast and free play,
11.15 am Lunch for children up to 3 years,
12.15 pm Lunch for children from 3 years,
2.30 pm Snacks.

Free play and project work for the children between these times.

Food

Children need healthy, varied food in order to develop physically and mentally in the best possible way. The educcare catering concept fulfils this care mandate and at the same time teaches children knowledge and skills about food. Meals and nutrition are therefore an important welfare and educational mission.

Basics

The daycare centre works according to the educcare educational concept. It is like a second home, an elementary place of education and helps to reconcile family and professional life.

The educational work is orientated towards the individuality and needs of each child - according to the educcare guiding principle: ‘A child is what it is made of.’

How does educcare educate? Our educational concept

Employee

Educational professionals at educcare are enthusiastic about all children and their individual development, focus on diversity and participation, are curious and open to learning, have social and emotional skills, have sound specialist knowledge, closely follow the development of each child and work in partnership with parents on the common path of education and upbringing.

Qualification

Our daycare centre takes part in the fit4future prevention initiative.

fit4future Kids works with four fields of action:

  • Mental health
  • Exercise
  • Nutrition
  • Digital media

Through fit4future, the educators support and accompany the children in initiating a health promotion process. It teaches methodological skills to implement health promotion sustainably, independently and successfully.

Quality Assurance

Annual anonymous parent and employee surveys.

Teamwork with parents

All children and their families are welcome in our daycare centres. Parents are the experts on their children.

educcare invites parents to help shape the life of the daycare centre with their own ideas. The mutual exchange is based on trust, mutual appreciation and acceptance.
